A commission for Manchester Jazz Festival in May 2024 for a live performance co-created with Verity Watts.
Built around audio recordings and voicemails from lost loved ones that were shared with us, we invited audiences to come together over shared experiences of loss, and create a space where they could be heard in a new and uplifting context.
Using turntables, electronics and newly commissioned vocal motifs from Testament MC, we worked together with improvising performers Lara Jones (saxophone/electronics), Lucy Nolan (harp) to create a supportive, shared space through sound and music.
